Head of Treasury

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Treasury to join our team in Finance & Growth at twoday.
Please note that we are looking for the right candidate across all of our locations. Therefore, it doesn't matter if you situated in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Lithuania or Finland.
This is a specialist role with responsibility for all treasury activities across the company’s operations, ensuring effective liquidity, sound risk management, and efficient use of capital. Operating in a private equity–owned environment, the position requires a hands-on leader with a strategic mindset, able to drive value creation through strong cash flow management, optimized financing, working capital efficiency, and well-structured banking solutions.
About the job
You will develop and execute the company’s treasury strategy in close alignment with business growth objectives and the requirements of our private equity owner. This includes ensuring efficient liquidity management across the group, overseeing debt facilities, covenant compliance, and investor reporting in collaboration with the CFO and private equity stakeholders.
You will also play a central role in refinancing, acquisition financing, and other capital events, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with regional and international banking partners. In addition, you will be responsible for negotiating banking fees, facility terms, and cash management solutions that support the company’s long-term financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and oversee the company’s financial risk management framework, including FX, interest rate, and liquidity risk, ensuring appropriate hedging strategies are in place.
· Manage company-wide cash flow forecasting processes with high accuracy and insight for decision-making.
· Oversee treasury policies, ensuring adherence to best practice standards and internal controls.
· Support M&A integration from a treasury perspective, including bank account setups, cash pooling, and working capital optimization.
· Lead working capital optimization initiatives in partnership with finance and operations.
· Drive capital structure optimization to balance liquidity, leverage, and cost of capital in line with PE value creation plans.
· Oversee treasury technology, systems, and controls, ensuring efficient, automated, and secure processes.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
· 10+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience.
· Professional treasury or finance qualification (e.g., ACT, CFA, CTP) an advantage.
· Proven track record in a multinational, multi-currency environment.
· Experience in private equity–backed businesses, including exposure to leveraged capital structures and covenant management.
· Strong understanding of Nordic banking environments and regulatory frameworks.
· Previous experience in professional services or asset-light industries preferred.
Skills & Attributes
· Exceptional cash flow management and forecasting skills.
· Strong debt and funding knowledge, including refinancing and covenant negotiation.
· Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in the detail.
· Excellent stakeholder management skills, including investor and bank relationships.
· Fluent in English; proficiency in at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Finnish, Danish, or Norwegian) highly desirable.
